This is a great video. Just another instance where my thoughts on who Christ is/was is changed and I see his ministry differently. It certainly does push a change in thought when approaching the catch phrase W.W.J.D. I mean sure he would feed the poor and serve the needy and care for the dying, but (like the video mentions) he wasn't preaching this to condem but as an "hombre" he was looking for this kind of love. Very interesting.
i actually kind of get this sense from reading the gospels already: that Jesus was destitute like that. he often eludes to being dirt poor and homeless himself. rather, he comes out and says it (the son of man has no place to lay his head). i didn't think/know that he was possibly a free loader like that though.
it does perhaps shed some light on the instance in which he said, "you will do greater things than these," knowing that his followers would have access to funds he did not.
